How I miss you, poetry little describes.

A decade and a half, and then we haven’t met,

leaving me with your dirty nemeses instead.

How I long to hold you again,

to walk into trials unscathed, unhindered, and unhinged.

How I yearn for your companionship,

to conquer and not make conquests.

How I crave your mere presence,

one that permits reckless, careless, and carefree.

How I seek you,

faint hope a guiding light through caves of nothingness.

How I know you,

I did not. How I long to know you,

describe, I cannot.
